The North in Motion - From Vision to Reality

On day 2 we will visit the city of Boden, where Stegra, one of Europe’s most significant industrial investments is taking shape, with major developments in green steel, green iron, and green hydrogen production. Boden is also a long-established centre for Sweden’s defence sector, an area now undergoing further expansion and transformation as Sweden strengthens its role within NATO.

During the visit, we will gain insights into how Boden is working to enable and support this rapid growth, balancing the needs of industry, infrastructure, talent attraction and community development. You will also be introduced to the wide range of investment opportunities emerging as a result of this transformation.

Before departing for Boden, we will explore developments in Luleå, where several major projects and investments are progressing in parallel.

This is transformation in its most tangible form – a region where change has been underway for years and where new investment opportunities continue to emerge.
